This Privacy Policy explains how Invopacto (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use invopacto.com and our document editor. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email and a hashed password (or a Google sign-in id).
• Business profile — company name, address, logo, tax ID and your default settings, used as the sender on your documents.
• Documents — the content you create (clients, line items, amounts, notes). For account users this is saved so you can store, send and track it.
• Payments — if you accept online payments, Stripe processes the card data. We never see or store full card numbers. We store your connected Stripe account id and its status.
• Technical data — basic logs (IP, browser) for security and rate-limiting, and view events when a client opens a shared document link (so you can see it was viewed).
• Cookies — a single session cookie to keep you logged in and a preference for your language. No third-party advertising trackers.

Guest mode

If you use the editor without an account, your draft stays in your browser (localStorage). It is only sent to our server when you press Download or Preview — to render the file server-side — and nothing is stored afterwards.

How we use it

• To provide the service — create, render, save, send and track your documents.
• To process the online payments you choose to accept (via Stripe Connect).
• For security, fraud prevention and support.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with the services that run the product: Stripe (payments & payouts), Resend (email delivery), Google (optional sign-in), and our hosting provider.

Retention & your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time — email us and we’ll action it. Passwords are hashed, secrets are encrypted, and data is transmitted over HTTPS.
